The day started out really ordinary. Gary mentioned to me in the morning that he had a dream that we received a referral. He said he realized it sounded funny/strange but "what if we did receive the call then no one would believe him about his dream." He has a point. So when he arrived home from work Gary was quick to ask if we heard any news from Beth. I went to the computer just to make sure and we just received at 05:50pm an email from Beth, our lovely stork/case worker from Gladney with the subject line of "It's a Boy". My heart started beating faster with tears in my eyes I called out to Gary to show him the sweetest email ever......
CALL ME!!!! CALL ME!!!! CALL ME!!!! CALL ME!!!!
The look on Gary's face was priceless! We were in shock/ frozen like two deers in headlights. Thank goodness the phone started ringing not even a few seconds later and the Caller ID reading "Gladney" . It was Beth wondering what was taking us so long to call her back .In less than one minute we became the proud parents of a beautiful little boy. Blue is now my favorite color. Beth wanted to know if we were ready to see his picture. It was love at first sight!!!! We couldn't stop smiling , looking at his picture and wondering how did we get so blessed to have a sweet and beautiful son as we listened to Beth tell us about our baby!
