Early this morning we received a call from Silvia that we have our Sentencia. We head back to Girardot to sign the adoption decree that the judge has approved on Monday. Yippee!!! This is great great news. The next steps will include getting Daniel's new birth certificate , visit the embassy doctors, apply for passport and visa. Then we will be ready to return home!
The rest of the day was a rainy and cold day in Bogota. Daniel struggled with sleeping last night. I am starting to see a Thursday night pattern. We figured Daniel would hit the pillow hard at naptime. Nope!! He the opposite, only a 10 minute nap . This just created a long long day for the Davis Family. Another family from the US just checked in . They have 2 little girls . One is 4 yrs old and Daniel just loves playing with her.

That's good news! Congratulations with the sentencia, you've got it very fast, incredible! In a week you must be ready to leave Colombia. We arrived this evening in Curacao and we stay in a perfect apartment, now we can be a real family without hotelstaff surrounding us.
